Swedish label H&M mixes urban street style with preppy men’s fashion for its latest featured fashion story entitled “The Beat Goes On.” It’s all about layers this fall season, and what better way to show off your sartorial style than to defy fashion rules? Mix it up with a smart coat worn over a hooded sweatshirt, or a pair of white sneakers with your tailored pants.
Take a cue from models Kirill Vasilev, Pablo Contreras, and Matthew Davidson, who were tapped to star in H&M’s featured fashion story. Photographed by Amy Troost and styled by Caroline Newell, the strapping young lads (and a girl) look effortlessly cool and sophisticated in their layered streetwear-inspired ensembles.

This parka features washed cotton twill, a lined drawstring hood, front zip, a pocket on one sleeve, handwarmer pockets with a zip, front pockets with a flap and press-stud, rear vent, and a drawstring hem.
H&M Quilted Bomber Jacket
This padded jacket features a jersey-lined hood in sweatshirt fabric, a rib-knit collar, front zip, a pocket on one sleeve, zipped side pockets, one inner pocket, and ribbing at the cuffs and hem.
H&M Sweatpants
These sweatpants feature a low crotch, tapered legs, an elasticated drawstring waist, side pockets, one back pocket, and ribbed hems.
H&M Rain Jacket
This waterproof jacket features welded seams, a drawstring hood, a wind flap, press-studs at the front, side pockets, and adjustable fasteners at the cuffs.
H&M Hooded Top with a Print
This hoodie features sweatshirt fabric, a lined drawstring hood, and ribbing at the cuffs and hem.
H&M Leather Trainers
These shoes feature a lace-up front, perforated sides, leather insoles, and rubber soles.
H&M Nylon Jacket
This bomber jacket features a stand-up collar, front zip, side pockets, a zipped sleeve pocket, one inner pocket, and ribbing at the cuffs and hem.
