The 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards rolled out the pink carpet for a slew of A-list celebrities in glamorous outfits to celebrate the best in fashion. Held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, the prestigious awards ceremony honored the most prominent names in the fashion industry. Some of the big winners of the night include Beyonce (Fashion Icon Award), Marc Jacobs (Womenswear Designer of the Year), Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel for Mansur Gavriel (Accessories Designer of the Year), Alessandro Michele (International Award), and the late David Bowie (The Board of Directors’ Special Tribute Award).

1. Naomi Campbell
Naomi Campbell looked better than ever in a black dress from Brandon Maxwell’s fall 2016 collection that exuded understated elegance. It featured a sleeveless design, a plunging neckline, cut-out sides, and a floor-length skirt. Her hair was swept to one side in a long braid, and she completed her look with diamond bracelets.

2. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley graced the event with her regal presence in a stunning Michael Kors Collection slip dress. It featured a sleeveless design, thin spaghetti straps, a V-shaped neckline, a floor-length skirt, an open back, and beaded embellishments.

3. Joan Smalls
Joan Smalls channeled Cleopatra in a nude Givenchy spring 2016 couture dress. It featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, a cut-out detail on the waist, and a floor-length skirt. She finished off her look with a colored lip and a wavy bob with blunt bangs.

4. Tilda Swinton
Tilda Swinton arrived at the Hammerstein Ballroom in her signature androgynous style. She played around with colors and textures in a fall 2016 look from Haider Ackermann. Her ensemble consisted of a long-sleeved top with beaded embellishments and black trousers with orange stripes on the sides. A blond quiff, a bright pink lip, and a pair of black suede booties with fuchsia cap toes provided the finishing touches to her look.

5. Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain stepped out in an organza lurex gown from Prabal Gurung’s fall 2016 collection, which featured a strapless neckline, a falling leaf design, and a high-low hem. She finished off her look with a sleek wavy updo and a pair of strappy heels from Paul Andrew.

6. Michelle Monaghan
Michelle Monaghan showed off a hint of leg in a dress from Off-White’s fall 2016 collection. The strapless beige number featured an asymmetrical panel with a frayed hem, a metallic silver panel with pleated detail, and a flirty thigh-high slit. Minimal hair and makeup, jewels from Monique Pean, a metallic silver clutch, and a pair of black strappy heels completed her look.

7. Olivia Wilde
Olivia Wilde fabulously dressed up her baby bump in a dark green dress from Rosie Assoulin’s fall 2016 collection. It featured long sleeves, cut-out details on the shoulder and on one side of the waist, ribbon ties, and a floor-length skirt. Alexa Chung went for a slightly edgy look in her all-black ensemble at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. She wore a black leather dress from Prabal Gurung, which featured a sleeveless design, a V-shaped neckline, a front zip closure, and a contrast skirt with a flared ruffle hemline.
